Henna-Maria Hanhineva’s Letters to Mari and Seija-Leena Salo’s Helli – because Grandma’s armpit is a pit – as For our Grandmothers is a full evening with two solos, which were born from reaching out for our grandmothers who passed away a long time ago.

Combining the physical and visual theater, Riikka Puumalainen and Antti Puumalainen, working with individualism and human relations, A Couple of Humans reflects on humanity from the perspectives of encounter, communication and interaction.

The musical Billy Elliot, directed by Heta Haanperä, is seen on the main stage of the Oulu Theater, Th musical is about the growth story of an 11-year-old boy living in the heart of a small mining town. Children performing have been selected from the Oulu area through entrance exams make Billy Elliot a special musical. JoJo has hired three dancers to the production.
PERFORMANCES ARE CANCELLED!
An evening in January, in Valvesali consist of two performances when the co-production of Tsuumi Dance Theatre, Dance Theatre Minimi and Kuopio City Theatre DANCE PROHIBITION and MARTAT by Riikka Puumalainen and Anne-Mari Kivimäki arrive in Oulu to visit.
Open call for applications to JoJo’s visiting program in 2024 is open on 14.10.-27.11.2022.

Working Class Background Embodied: Sketches on Class V is a contemporary presentation that opens and deals with the class experiences of working group members in Finnish society. Complex class questions are addressed through movement, text, sound, and visual elements.
PREMIERE ON 5.11.
Eternal Return is a strange ride. Imagine being able to view your entire life from any vantage point. This performance dives into the topic of alternate perspectives of life from a place of humor and great seriousness.
OUDANCE
During the OuDance Festival, courses and workshops will be organized for all those interested and professionals in the field.
Site specific art performance, which premiered in JoJo’s program in 2018, visits Theater Viirus in Helsinki on 19th-21st August.
