JoJo’s audience work provides an opportunity to explore and delve deeper into dance as a diverse art form.
Cultural well-being refers to a person’s individual or communal experience of culture, arts and creative activities increasing one’s mental and physical well-being. Our cultural well-being services are customer- and needs-oriented, low-threshold customisable services with goals to promote health and well-being. They can, for example, increase functional capacity, a sense of control of one’s life and perceived health, prevent loneliness and social segregation, increase inclusion and the right to self-expression, improve well-being at work or support mental health.

The body and physical activities have a strong connection to your overall well-being, and creative movement can have a positive effect on one’s mental health. The well-being effects of dance and movement can be seen in children, adults and the elderly. Watching dance has also been found to have a positive effect.
