Description of the performance

If my grandmother would have had the chance to melt; being weak, wild, playful or broken, what kind of a person would I be?

Cold Chain is a dance film about over-generational silence. The movie dives into the families silenced stories, bringing our pre-mothers means of survival to this day. The performers are choreographer Ninni Perko, academic Marjo Kuusela, dancer Krista-Julia Arppo and over 30 women aged 25-90 years. Direction and script Juha Ilmari Laine and Ninni Perko, music Petra Poutanen and Jarmo Saari, mixed by Samuli Kosminen, researcher D.Soc.Sc. Anna-Maria Isola. The movie is a part of Roots-research (University of Turku)

Admission to the Cold Chain Movie is free and it is not possible to reserve a seat in advance. The studio can currently accommodate 20 spectators.
