A major international event Stretch Further will be held at Oulu as a part of OuDance Festival at 7.-13.9.2026
Oulu is a compact and easy-to-navigate city. The city centre is very walkable, and the main venues for the Stretch Further Festival — Kulttuuritalo Valve, Oulu Theatre and Radisson Blu — are all located in the city centre, within less than a kilometre of one another. Wide pavements, clear signage and well-maintained streets make getting around the city on foot easy and convenient all year round.
For destinations further away from the city centre, Oulu’s reliable public transport system provides easy access by bus. The buses serve the entire city and surrounding areas, including the airport, shopping centres and residential neighbourhoods. Routes and timetables are available at osl.fi. The city uses a flat-rate fare system, meaning that the ticket price is the same throughout the OSL area regardless of the distance travelled. An adult mobile ticket or contactless payment on the bus costs €2.90 (€1.45 for children aged 7–16). A single ticket is valid for transfers for 90 minutes.
For longer journeys, Oulu is also served by Bolt, Uber and local taxi services.

All four venues are situated within a five-minute walk of one another.
