Far away on the Moon is the quietest place in the universe, the Moon’s library. Occasionally the library’s books get covered in nonsense.
There are two kinds of nonsense. The first is nonsense for children and poets. It tickles the tip of the nose and makes you laugh. And then there is the other kind of nonsense… It’s better to stay away from that.
Pomp pulina is the bouncing of balls, the clatter of words, and the jingling of dance. In the work, poems and dance are fitted together into a smooth whole.
The piece, aimed at preschool and early elementary children, is a thoughtful and funny look at worldviews, obsessions, and the lightness of the Moon.
